Tour the dashboard
What lives where and the design patterns we use across the app.
havelo's dashboard is grouped into 4 areas in the sidebar:
Property Management
- Properties, Tenants, Contracts, Insurance.
- The "what you own and who lives in it" layer.
Lettings
- Applicants (referencing, compare, decisions).
- Legal Cases (Section 21, Section 8, deposit disputes, court applications).
Maintenance
- Maintenance Log (issues, contractors, photos, costs).
- Approved Repairers (your roster + spend caps).
- Compliance (gas safety, EICR, EPC, smoke/CO, legionella, PAT, HMO licences).
AI Assistant
- The chat interface for grounded UK landlord questions.
Common patterns
- Most index pages have tabs at the top (Pending / Active / Completed) and a search/filter bar.
- Add and Edit forms slide in from the right (drawers) so you don't lose your place in the list.
- Destructive actions confirm with a dialog (no native browser confirm).
- Toast notifications appear bottom-right for success and error.
