Compare applicants side by side
Use the compare wizard to choose between multiple candidates for the same property.
When you have 2 or more pending applicants on the same property, you'll see a lavender banner at the top of the inbox: "X pending applicants on [property]: Compare side by side".
What the wizard shows
A grid with one column per applicant and rows for:
- Finances: monthly income, affordability multiple.
- Employment: status, employer, role, contract type.
- Right to Rent: status.
- Checks: credit, employer reference, landlord reference.
- Self-declared: CCJ, IVA, eviction.
- Risk flags: any reds we've detected.
- Household: occupants, pets, smoker.
What we highlight
We tint the leading cell green for income, affordability and credit so the strongest candidate jumps out at a glance.
Approving from the wizard
Each column has Approve and Reject buttons. Clicking Approve:
- Sets that applicant to Approved.
- Auto-rejects every other pending applicant on the same property.
- Sends the appropriate email flow (congratulations + sibling rejections).
You're sent back to the inbox after approval.
